# byok_keys_required

> HTTP 400 — BYOK keys required but none are configured.

## HTTP status

`400 invalid_request_error`

## Typical cause

The workspace or data policy requires bring-your-own-key (BYOK) credentials for this model, but no BYOK keys are configured.

## Resolution

Add your own API key for the required provider in the dashboard under BYOK settings.
