# resource_not_found

> HTTP 404 — Requested resource not found.

## HTTP status

`404 not_found_error`

## Typical cause

The resource referenced by the request (workspace, key, invite, budget, etc.) does not exist or isn't visible to the caller.

## Resolution

Check the resource ID and the caller's permissions. 404 is also returned when the caller lacks permission to view the resource.
